An NCB’s official confirming on the same has told a leading digital news agency that, Rakul Preet Singh has given the confirmation of getting the summons by their team to appear for the investigation.
Also, this latest development and update of Rakul acknowledging the summons sent by NCB who is investigating the Bollywood drugs cartel nexus came in hours after the actor’s team denied the news of receiving the official summons by the Narcotics Control Bureau.
ANI had tweeted, “Yes, Rakul Preet Singh has acknowledged the summons and updated her latest address: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) official”.
After confirming the news that she has received the official summon to appear for the drugs angle probe, Rakul is said to go for the investigation on 25th September.
Rakul who is a very well known face and also one of the most famous actresses down South, was called in for the questioning session by NCB today. However, it’s said that she may now appear on Friday along with the Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone.
The NCB earlier told that they had issued out and sent the official summons to Rakul digitally, but there were no answers and confirmation of the same from her or her team.
According to a leading news TV channel, Rakul should be mentally set and prepared to answer any kind of difficult or tricky face to face questions like: Did you procure and get the illegal banned drugs from Rhea Chakraborty, did you also attend the said drug filled parties at Sushant Singh Rajput’s farmhouse and do you know any people who consume and supply drugs.
