Rakhi Sawant along with her mother was spotted outside a theatre in Mumbai as they were heading to watch ‘The Kashmir Files’. Rakhi was dressed in Indian attire while her mother, who has been unwell for a long time, was in a wheelchair.
While interacting with the media, Rakhi said, “It is an important film. My mother never goes out to watch a film, but she insisted on watching this one.”
When asked about the Kapil Sharma controversy, Rakhi said, “Kapil Sharma ji is a nice man. He can’t do this. He is my friend. Firstly, he can’t do this, but if he has done something like this, Rakhi Sawat apologizes on his behalf. Bollywood always supports everyone. They have supported people during natural disasters, Covid-19 pandemic etc.”

She also urged everyone to watch ‘The Kashmir Files’.
The film is directed by Vivek Agnihotri and features Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumaar. It was released in 11th March 2022 in theatres and has been raking phenomenal collection at the box office.
