He was so energetic that he also became an inspiration for other people. I remember we were shooting for Hare Rama Hare Krishna in Kathmandu. While talking to the cameraman and explaining the shot, he climbed up the hill. He asked the cameraman to climb up as well and he was like, ‘Arre ye to chala gya, mai kaise jau itni upar’.”

Prem said, “For Dev Anand, if one shot is off, the other shot is on! Even if his films didn’t work, it never gave him a complex. He was such a positive man. He died with his boots on. He had gone to London for treatment and before going, he told me that I should be ready for “Hare Krishna Hare Rama 2”.

Praising the late superstar, Prem added, “I never saw him talking against anybody. He was not a politician. Other people were. He was a very disciplined man.”

Prem Chopra mentioned that he shared screen space with Dev Anand in “Hare Rama Hare Krishna” and “Des Pardes” and these film performed well at the box office.
