Prem Chopra And His Wife Hospitalized After Testing Covid Positive

Veteran actor Prem Chopra and his wife Uma Chopra tested positive for Covid on Monday.

Veteran Bollywood actor Prem Chopra and his wife Uma Chopra were taken to the hospital after testing positive for Covid-19 on Monday.

They were admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai and were given monoclonal antibody cocktail. The doctor told that both of them have been responding well to the treatment and might get a discharge in a day or two.

Prem Chopra is 86-years-old and has acted in 380 films over a span of over 60 years. He is best known for playing a villain in films. Prem Chopra started his career in 1960 and married Uma in 1969. Uma is a fashion designer. She is the younger sister of late actor Raj Kapoor’s wife, late Krishna Kapoor.

On Monday, many other celebs announced on social media that they have tested positive for Covid-19. This includes producer Ekta Kapoor, actor John Abraham and his wife Priya.

Recently, Nora Fatehi, Rhea Kapoor, Karan Boolani and Alaya F also tested positive for the virus.
