Talking to Lehren, Paresh Rawal shed light on various such reasons. The Hera Pheri actor said, “These people didn’t exhibit the film properly. I feel that there was government interference.”  Ahead, explaining his point, the actor stated, “Kuch problem hai with the foundation jinhone ye film produced kee. H.M. Patel (producer) sir ke jaane ke baad achhi tarah se exhibit nahin kiya gaya aur logon mein awareness bhi nahin hain (there is some issue with the foundation who produced this film. After the death of producer H.M. Patel, they didn’t exhibit the film neatly and there is no awareness among people).”

Paresh Rawal outlined him as “Modern day Chanakya’. The OMG actor also said that people are not aware of the fact that, apart from “Gandhi” and “Nehru”, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was the one who united our country. The actor firmly made his point saying, “Aaj hum job hi kuch hai, woh sirf unaki wajah se (whatever we are today is because of him).” As he said, Sardar Patel saved our nation from getting into pieces and thus, whatever freedom we are experiencing is because of him.

Paresh Rawal opened up about the post-success plan of the film; said that the team was going to distribute the 50 lakh cassettes free of cost to educational institutes, libraries, schools etc. But it couldn’t happen because of the low reach of the film in the country.
