While earlier there were several news reports doing the rounds about how the original makers of the Amala Paul starrer “Aadai” were very keen and eager to have Shraddha Kapoor on board as their main female protagonist but now the entire scenario has completely changed as Nushrat joins cast of Aadai’s hindi remake as main lead.
This is indeed a very happy and exciting piece of news for all the Nushrat Bharucha fans across the globe and here we can say that film loss of Shraddha became a career gain for Nushrat. However, it is official now that Nushrat joins the cast of Aadai’s Hindi remake as main lead.
In Bollywood, we often see cases where film loss of one actor becomes a beneficial career and movie gain for the other. Something very similar has happened here as well.
Nushrat is a very stunning and brilliant performer who has given us memorable performances with hit films like Pyar Ka Punchnama 2 (2016), Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018), and Dream Girl (2019).
Furthermore originally the role in the Aadai official hindi remake required a strong and bold actor to perform difficult and controversial scenes very confidently and flawlessly in a realistic way which is why the makers really tried their level best to rope in Shraddha Kapoor and things were almost finalized but then the Saaho (2019) actor backed out of the project because she wasn’t really comfortable in doing nude scenes. Then later this is where Nushrat got on board as the main female protagonist in the film.
According to a leading digital Indian website, “They wanted someone who is bold and will be up to take the risk. It’s an A rated film with several bold scenes, including a completely nude scene. They had approached Shraddha Kapoor first, but it didn’t work out. Now, they have offered the film to Nushrat Bharucha who has liked the script. But what needs to be seen is how the team plans to shoot and execute it since it’s a very tricky space to be in. They wanted a performer who can play the vivacious and the vulnerable with equal aplomb and Nushrat fit their bill. But she is yet to sign on the dotted line because the modalities are currently being discussed.”
Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor, who had a superb 2019 with Saaho and Chichhore hasn’t found the lady luck factor in her side this year. Earlier this year, both of her highly much awaited and eagerly anticipated films of the first half of 2020 with Baaghi 3 and Street Dancer 3D couldn’t perform the way many had expected.
Then now recently the problems are seeming to be never ending for her as she found herself in trouble regarding the ongoing bollywood drugs nexus controversy.
Following the death of late bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha found her name in the on-going list of A lister film celebs who allegedly have consumed banned drugs.
It was recently stated and said that Shraddha along with other actresses like Deepika Padukone & Sara Ali Khan had almost gotten a clean chit but that was again denied and refuted by NCB as baseless rumors. The Narcotics Control Bureau has said that such reports are “devoid” of “truth and facts”.
NCB’s statement read, “The news article mentioning that the drugs law enforcement agency giving clean chit to those examined by NCB is devoid of the facts and truth.” NCB also cleared the confusion and told that that the necessary “rebuttal” is being issued to the concerned.
