After the mega flop like “Adipurush”, the audience is doubtful whether filmmakers can film epics like Ramayana in its purest form. But “Bawaal” director Nitesh Tiwari is quite confident about this. Everyone knows that Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming venture “Ramayana” is in the pre-production process. And there are many speculations about the star cast of this movie. It is said that Ranbir Kapoor will portray lord Ram while goddess Sita will be played by Sai Pallavi. Though many mythological series and movies are taking the front side in the content race, it’s still a challenge to film epics in the best possible way without harming the authenticity and audience’s expectations. But Nitesh Tiwari, who has faith in his own process, revealed the reason behind making the epic saga of Ramayana.
According to Nitesh Tiwari, we haven’t seen Ramayana in a form in which it deserves to be told. The memories we have of Ramayana are 30 years old. In this situation, he believes in the power of VFX. It has expanded its way. Ramayana’s story has fantastic beliefs in our culture. “With this story, if you have a very interesting view of executing it and people who are backing you, all those things make it extremely exciting to be a part of the film and I consider myself very lucky”, he added. He wants to recreate Ramayana using this authentic story and best suited VFX to serve the audience the authentic form of Ramayana.
Talking about the buzz factor of the movie, its cast, Bobby Deol, Sunny Deol, KGF star Yash, Kubbra Sait, Lara Dutt may share the screen with Ranbir and Sai Pallavi. But an official announcement is yet to happen.
