Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the much-awaited Bollywood comedy horror film, Munjya was finally released in the theatres on 7 June. Starring Sharvari Wagh and Abhay Verma the film opened up to positive reviews and a decent opening at the box office. As per the latest reports, the film’s digital rights have been acquired by a leading streaming platform.
Munjya OTT Platform
Munjya is expected to be available for streaming on OTT platforms by the end of July or early August, although no official confirmations have been announced. According to reports, the renowned OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar has secured the digital rights to the film.
About Munjya
“Munjya” draws inspiration from Marathi folklore, narrating the tale of the legendary creature from Indian beliefs and cultural traditions. “Munjya” narrates the tale of a spirit set free by a boy, which subsequently troubles the local women. Now, the community must find a way to return the spirit to its place of origin.
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, “Munjya” was released in the theatres on 7 June 2024. The film stars Sharvari, Mona Singh, Abhay Verma, and Sathyaraj.
