Greta Gerwig’s fantasy movie Barbie has taken over the world. People are way too excited to watch the world’s first live-action Barbie movie. Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling starrer recorded a whopping USD 155 million in its opening weekend. Not just in the US, the craze for the film is being witnessed in Asian countries as well. Bollywood star-wife Mira Rajput recently stepped out to watch the much-hyped film in a theatre. However, she took to her Instagram and took a dig at the film while praising Bollywood at the same time.
In her Instagram story, Mira wrote, “Hollywood this Hollywood that…Well Hollywood can’t do song and dance like Bollywood can.”
Barbie is a journey of self-discovery where Barbie and Ken leave Barbieland and go on a quest for self-discovery in the real world. The film clashed with Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer at the box office. In the US, Barbie earned double of Oppenheimer while in India, Nolan’s film gained more traction.
Talking about Mira Rajput, she is married to Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor. Recently, the couple took a vacation to Greece.
