Rajshri is all set to bring its upcoming movie Uunchai on 11th November 2022. Nearing close to the release date the makers are unveiling character posters of the film. In the past two days, Amitabh Bachchan as Amit Shrivastava and Anupam Kher as Om Sharma were introduced. Now, Rajshri has unveiled Boman Irani as Javed Siddiqui from Uunchai. It is a story of a lifetime and celebrates friendship.
Irani unveiled his character from Uunchai sharing poster on Instagram. He wrote, “#Uunchai is a big piece of my heart and I’m all set to share it with you! Meet me as Javed Siddiqui in this journey of a lifetime in #Rajshri’s next. With @uunchaithemovie I come back home to @rajshrifilms and #SoorajBarjatya. See you on 11.11.22.”
Boman Irani’s dear friend Rajkumar Hirani who is an ace director too shared the poster on his social media. In the caption he wrote, “Feels good as I present to you my friend – Boman Irani as Javed Siddiqui in #SoorajBarjatya’s #Uunchai. Can’t wait to see @bomanirani in this film. Relive and celebrate the beauty of friendship with @rajshri and @uunchaithemovie on 11.11.22. #Rajshri”
Rajshri also unveiled character poster of Sarika as Mala Trivedi. The caption read, “Presenting Sarika as Mala Trivedi in our next – #Uunchai! Embark on a journey of redemption in a theatre near you on 11.11.22”
Uunchai story displays the friendship of three oldies Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, and Anupam Kher. The trio is on a mountaineering trek headed by a tour guide played by Parineeti Chopra. The film also features senior actor Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, Sarika, and Nafisa Ali Sodhi.
Uunchai is helmed by Sooraj Barjatya under the banners of his home production Rajshri Films. Sooraj returns to directing films after a break of 7 years. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor was his last directorial project. The three senior actors will go on a trek of Uunchai on 11th November 2022.
