Directed by Amit Sharma, the sports drama has now opened up to “positive” reviews from the moviegoers and public who have already declared the film a “blockbuster” hit.

The film’s narrative takes inspiration from Syed Abdul Rahim, the renowned coach and manager of the Indian national football team, celebrated as the driving force behind Indian football’s golden era between 1952 and 1962. Ajay Devgn portrays the character based on Rahim on screen, depicting the coach’s relentless dedication as he strives to excel.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) many early watchers and moviegoers poured in their reviews and reactions after watching Ajay Devgn starrer, “Maidaan”.
