Sudipto Sen, a director who is popular for his previous creation “The Kerala Story”, has come up with another such creation emphasizing India’s unsolved question “Bastar: The Naxal Story”. Produced by Sunshine Pictures, the Bastar movie starring Adah Sharma will be released on March 15th. Today the makers of the movie are releasing the song “Vande Veeram” from the movie. The event is happening at Vile Parle, Mumbai.
Adah Sharma is the single lead in the film, portraying the character of IPS Neerja. As the movie majorly delves into the naxalite area and the efforts of jawaans, this song launch event has embellished with a special guest appearance of CRPFR Jawaans. The entire team of the movie is present for the event including Adah Sharma, Shilpa Shukla, director Sudipto Sen and producer Vipul Shah.
The trailer of the movie clearly depicts the severity of the film on the Indian audience, and it may affect the political landscape of our nation. Naxalism has been an acute issue in India and till date there is no full stop to this. Director Sudipto tried to showcase this extremist reality which still exists in India. The story revolves around naxalism in the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh.
The Kerala Story raised many controversies which involved the Supreme Court. This another collaboration between Sunshine Pictures, Sudipto Sen & Adah Sharma will be interesting to watch.
