Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital after she tested positive for Covid-19. A senior doctor at the hospital confirmed that she is also suffering from pneumonia. He told that she was admitted on Saturday night after her health deteriorated.
The popular playback singer is currently in ICU. The doctors have not yet given elaborate details on her health at the moment.
Recently, veteran actor Prem Chopra and his wife were also admitted to the hospital after testing positive for Covid 19. Director Priyadarshan was also rushed to a hospital in Chennai after he was infected by the virus.
In what seems to be the third wave of Covid-19, many celebrities have been falling sick. Nora Fatehi, Kareena Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Nakuul Mehta, Esha Gupta are some of the many who have fought Covid in the last few weeks.
