Kriti Sanon Finally Reveals Why Her Mother Didn’t Want Her To Do Lust Stories

KoffeeWithKaran7: Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon recently graced the couch of Karan Johar’s very popular chat show Koffee With Karan with her Heropanti co-star Tiger Shroff. During the episode, the actress was seen getting candid about her personal and professional life. The actress also opened up about why her mother didn’t want her to do Karan Johar’s film Lust Stories. Here’s what she said-

Kriti Sanon On Why Her Mother Didn’t Want Her To Do Lust Stories

In the previous episode of Koffee With Karan, Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar was seen revealing about having approached Kriti Sanon before Kiara Advani for his film Lust Stories. He said, “I had offered it to Kriti Sanon, the role…and she said that her mom didn’t allow her.” He added, “I thought everybody’s mom would stand in line, not allowing their daughters. It’s actually a very empowering story. It’s about a woman’s right to pleasure.”

While in the recent episode of Koffee With Karan, Heropanti actress Kriti Sanon was seen addressing the topic on why her mother didn’t allow her to do lust stories, she said, “My mom said no to your role because she was not comfortable with the nature of the script, given the focus of it was only on sensual scenes. That is why she said better not to do it.”

Kriti further explained why it is important for her to take her mother’s approval, and said, “I come from a middle-class family and for them, controversial themes like these can be a little shocking. But I don’t always ask my mother.”

Kriti Sanon Says She Looks Good With Aditya Roy Kapur

Apart from her professional life the actress also opened up about her personal life. During the episode, Karan Johar was seen teasing the actress for canoodling with Aditya Roy Kapur during his party. To this Kriti said, “We do look good together. You know me I’d never canoodle in a corner,” She further adds, “I feel like he’s a really nice guy. He’s good-looking. And we chat sometimes whenever we sort of bump into each other and that’s about it. There’s not been anything else.”

Kriti Sanon recently appeared with Akshay Kumar in Bachchhan Paandey, she will soon appear alongside South superstar Prabhas in Adipurush, apart from this she will also be seen in Bhedia, alongside Varun Dhawan and Ganapath with Tiger Shroff.
