Know Why Kriti Sanon Was Nervous For Adipurush

Kriti Sanon was nervous to step into Adipurush world, feels responsible to play a mythological character

After winning accolades for Mimi, Kriti Sanon join hands with Telugu star Prabhas for Adipurush. The actress gave a sneak peek into her character from the upcoming film after being tight-lipped for a long time. Since doing remarkable acting in films like Heropanti, Luka Chuppi, Raabta, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Bachchhan Paandey and more the actress will now be seen in a unique role. She has opened up about how nervous she was stepping into a new world of Adipurush. 

Kriti and Prabhas have been paired for Om Rout’s Adipurush based on the epic Ramayana. The film is anticipated to be a delightful experience to watch. Working on her next project, the Panipat actress thinks this movie will be a turning point in her career. She believes Adipurush will be a major step in her professional career bringing both strength and sensitivity to the big screen. As an actor, she feels responsible playing such an iconic character and a part.

Kriti Sanon said, “Adipurush is a role and a world that I was a little bit nervous to play and step into because I didn’t know that world and I didn’t know what I was going to do and how I was going to play a part that holds so much importance in our religion and our history. With that weight, you also as an actor feel responsible because you’re playing such an iconic character and a part”.

Bollywood will witness a fresh pair of Kriti and Prabhas with Adipurush. Ever since the film was announced fans are eagerly waiting to see the duo on the silver screen. A source close to the film shared, “The new pairing of Prabhas and Kriti Sanon is intriguing and one to watch out – The team is extremely excited about how the Pan-India release is shaping up and how the onscreen chemistry and camaraderie between the two is translating beautifully on screen.”

Adipurush is a Hindu Mythological film based on the epic Ramayana. Made at a budget of 500 crores the most expensive Indian film is helmed by Om Rout and produced by T-Series Films. Saif Ali Khan is locked as Ravana or Lankesh in Kriti and Prabhas starrer Adipursh. The film was simultaneously shot in Hindi and Telugu and is slated to release on 12th January. 

Apart from Adipurush, Kriti also has Bhediya, Shehzaada, and Ganapath in the pipeline.
