Kareena Kapoor is undoubtedly one of the most gorgeous and talented actresses in the entertainment industry. In a career spanning more than a decade, she has been winning the hearts of the audience. She married Bollywood actor and Chhote Nawab Saif Ali Khan in 2012. And they have two children, Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi and Jehangir Ali Khan Pataudi. Kareena has established a standard for women, from becoming an actress at a young age to marrying Saif at the height of her success and continuing to work throughout and after her pregnancy. In a recent media interview, she spoke about why she married Saif.
Kareena was asked by ETimes about how the box office performance of her films affects her at this point in her career. She responded that she is no longer in competition with anyone, even if the collections will always be important. She continued by saying that because she has always had the option to decide what to do with her life, she is currently in a good place.
When talking about getting married to Saif Ali Khan at the height of her career, she said that she wanted to. She quoted herself as saying, “I did, and it was when no actress was getting married,” she said. The actress further added, “Today, so many actresses are getting married! It is suddenly cool to be married and working. Earlier, it was about not having children. Then suddenly, it was like…okay you can have a child as well and still be working. I have always done things that I love and believe in.”
To note: Saif has two children from his first wife Amrita Singh, daughter Sara Ali Khan and son Ibrahim Ali Khan.
