Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan recently turned 33 on 22nd November. And to celebrate his special day Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar announced his collaboration with the actor for their upcoming film. Announcing the collaboration the filmmaker also put an end to the feud rumors between him and Kartik after he kicked him out of his film, Dostana 2.
Karan Johar Announces His Next Film With Kartik Aaryan
Taking to his Instagram account Karan Johar announced his upcoming collaboration with Kartik and wrote, “Kickstarting today with some special news on a special day! Extremely thrilled to announce @dharmamovies and @balajimotionpictures coming together for a film helmed by the exceptionally talented @sandeipm.”
Karan added, “I find myself elated to also announce the supremely talented @kartikaaryan as our lead for this story that will unfold in cinemas on 15th August 2025!. Kartik, happy birthday to you… may our collaboration only grow from strength to strength from hereon and never cease to create magic on the big screen. @ektarkapoor, being your friend is easily the best thing and now working with you will be no different!”.

Karan Johar-Kartik Aaryan’s Rumored Feud
For the unversed, Kartik Aaryan was rumored to have a fallout with filmmaker Karan Johar after he was ousted from ‘Dostana 2’ in which he was cast opposite Jhanvi Kapoor. Kartik and Dharma Productions were working on Dostana 2 before the fallout. In a statement issued after the fallout, Dharma refused to divulge details and said that it would maintain a ‘dignified silence’ on the matter.
As per the media reports, Karan had removed Kartik from the film because of his unprofessional behavior. The reports also suggested that he had an ugly fight with co-star Janhvi Kapoor because of which their friendship ended in January and they both are not on talking terms.
