‘Kangana Ranaut’ is gearing up once again to reunite with versatile actor ‘R. Madhavan’ for their upcoming Pan-India psychological thriller film. The production of this venture has kick started today in ‘Chennai’. Taking it to social media platform ‘X’, Ranaut shared a picture and wrote, “Today in Chennai we started filming our new film, a psychological thriller. Other details coming soon. For now need all your support and blessings for this very unusual and exciting script.”

This Mega project is directed by dynamic filmmaker ‘A.L Vijay’ who is also credited to helm Kangana starrer ‘Thalaivii’, marking this as their second collaboration together. The music score for the film is tuned by popular composer ‘G.V. Prakash Kumar’, while the majestic cinematographer ‘Nirav Shah’ will contribute as the ‘Director Of Photography’- the same way he did for numerous blockbuster Tamil films. The Movie is expected to be shot at a large scale extensively showcasing the best cinematic stills possible and is slated for a bilingual release in ‘Tamil’ and ‘Hindi’ Language.
Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan have also garnered immense love and appreciation for their previous partnership in ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ series. The chemistry and comic timing of both these artists was widely lauded by the audiences in turn making ‘Tanu Weds manu Returns’ a stellar hit in 2015 which minted around Rs. 175 crores at the Box Office.
On professional front , Kangana was last seen in war genre movie ‘Tejas’ which miserably failed in the movie market. The Queen actress is also gearing up for her political drama film ‘Emergency’- portraying ex- Prime Minister ‘Indira Gandhi’s character’ on the silver screen. While Maddie’s (R. Madhavan) highly anticipated creation ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ bagged the prestigious- National Award for ‘Best Feature Film’ Category in October last month.
