Kalki 2898 AD Trailer: The highly anticipated trailer for Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi blockbuster, Kalki 2898 AD, has finally arrived. Starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan, the trailer was finally released on 10 June. True to expectations, it is brimming with intense action.

The trailer opens by immersing us in the world of Kashi, hailed as the first and last city ever to exist. In this realm, Saswata Chatterjee’s tyrannical ruler wreaks havoc, causing philosophers to desperately hope for a divine power to save them. Amitabh Bachchan’s Ashwatthama foretells the arrival of a new force, which he reveals is growing within Padma played by Deepika Padukone.
As Saswata’s malevolent forces pursue Padma and her unborn child, both Ashwatthama and the quirky hero Bhairava played by Prabhas, come to her aid. Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas are featured performing exhilarating stunts. The trailer also gives us a glimpse of Disha Patani battling Prabhas, and an unrecognizable Kamal Haasan in a bald look, heralding the dawn of a new era.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, “Kalki 2898 AD” stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani, and Kamal Haasan. Kalki 2898 AD is set to hit the theatres on June 27.
