Bollywood’s versatile actor Irrfan Khan took his last breath in Mumbai on April 29, 2020. The late actor was suffering from cancer for the past 2 years. The sudden demise of such a great actor has left many hearts across the globe broken as Irrfan was not only a Bollywood star but also have had done some significant roles in Hollywood and international projects. The shaken entertainment fraternity extended their condolences towards Irrfan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar and two sons- Babil Khan and Ayaan Khan.
A few days ago Irrfan’s wife Sutapa broke her silence on his demise and said she hasn’t lost anything but gained in many ways as now she can put in use the lessons she has learned from him along the way. Even his two sons are sharing pictures and videos of their father, recalling the fond memories.
Meanwhile, the late actor’s elder son Babil Khan shared a throwback goofy video on his Instagram handle. In the video, we can see Irrfan Khan taking a dip into a freezing lake with a wide smile on his face as always. The video showcases the carefree side of the now gone actor and how much he loved to try new things as we can hear him says “It’s ice.”
To pay tribute to the gem of Bollywood, two artists from Mumbai painted a wall mural to the actor in the famous bylanes of Mumbai’s Bandra. Irrfan’s mural was painted by two artists- Vikas Bansal and Ranjit Dahiya. The mural is painted black and yellow and isn’t far away from the place where Irrfan’s 2013 film Lunchbox was shot.
The actor’s absence will be felt in the industry as such actors are born once in a lifetime. It was Irrfan’s eyes who did much of the talking in the films and the addition of dialogues to it was just a bonus. Irrfan Khan will forever be missed.
