Director and producer Anil Sharma is currently enjoying the success of his latest film Gadar 2. It is a sequel to his 2001 blockbuster film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. 1. Genius (2018)
Anil Sharma introduced his son Utkarsh Sharma as a child artist in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Years later, when Utkarsh grew up, Anil introduced him as a lead actor in the 2018 film Genius. The film faced harsh criticism for its weak script, poor direction, and lack of originality. However, Anil then cast him in Gadar 2 and Utkarsh has been receiving the right kind of attention since the film was released.
2. Singh Saab The Great (2013)
Anil Sharma and Sunny Deol’s pairing has delivered big hits like Gadar, Gadar 2 and Apne. However, sometimes, they have failed too. One such example is the 2013 film Singh Saab The Great. While the film starred the charismatic Sunny Deol, its narrative failed to leave a lasting impression.
3. Veer (2010)
This film featured Salman Khan in the lead role. It failed to resonate with audiences and critics alike. Despite its grandeur and ambitious scope, “Veer” suffered from poor execution and a lack of emotional depth.
4. Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo (2004)

5. Maharaja (1998)

6. Policewala Gunda (1995)
Not as a director but Anil Sharma was associated with this film as a producer. This crime film featured the talented stars Dharmendra and Reena Roy. Despite Dharmendra’s stardom, this film was unsuccessful in winning the audience’s hearts and even failed miserably at the box office.
