The wait is finally over as Zee Studios has dropped the trailer of the much-awaited film Gadar 2. The film is a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster film Gadar and brings together the hit pair of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. Gadar 2 trailer takes us back in time and it has further accelerated our excitement for the movie.
Gadar 2 is set in 1971 where Tara Singh once again travels to Pakistan to bring back his son. Utkarsh Sharma, whom we saw as a little kid ‘Jeete’ is all grown up. The longing of a father to meet his son makes you emotional while his strong will to turn the world upside down for his family inspires you to the core. Ameesha Patel’s innocence is still intact and it is something we have missed in our Bollywood movies for a long time. The romance between Tara Singh and Sakina rekindles our faith in love and companionship and makes us an admirer of old-school love. Sunny Deol delivers powerful dialogues. Needless to say, it is going to be a perfect film to watch with your family.

Gadar 2 is all set to hit the theatres on August 11. The film will face a big clash with Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi starrer OMG 2. The hype for both films is quite high and it would be interesting to see if Tara Singh and Sakina are able to repeat the history by smashing some box office records. Rest assured, the theatres are definitely going to witness chants of Hindustan Zindabad Tha, Zindabad Hai, Aur Zindabad Rahega as the makers have chosen the apt time to release the film around Independence Day.
