Directed by Pathaan filmmaker, Siddharth Anand, the much-awaited and highly-anticipated Bollywood film, Fighter was released in theatres on 25th January. Starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles the film received positive reviews and opened up to a decent box office opening earning ₹ 22.5 Cr. As per the latest trade reports, the aerial action film witnessed huge growth at the box office on Friday (Republic Day).
Fighter Box Office Collection Day 1
Starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles, Siddharth Anand’s aerial-action film, Fighter opened up to decent reviews from both the audience and the critics. After receiving positive reviews, the Bollywood action thriller recorded a good opening at the box office earning ₹ 22.5 Cr on its first day.
Meanwhile, as per Sacnilk.com, Siddharth Anand’s film, Fighter witnessed a huge rise and growth in numbers on Friday. The film earned ₹ 39 Cr on its second day at the box office, taking the domestic box office total a whopping ₹ 61.5 Cr. The film is expected to see further growth during the upcoming weekend (Saturday-Sunday). As per trade analysts, the film is expected to cross the 100cr mark by the end of the weekend.
Talking about the Fighter’s opening day collection, the aerial action film failed to beat Siddharth Anand’s last film, Pathaan which was also released during the same time in 2023 and earned ₹57 crore on its opening day. However, the film still managed to beat recently released Bollywood films like Merry Christmas and Main Atal Hoon.
