Did You Know? Katrina Kaif REJECTED ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, Here’s Why!

In a recent interview, filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar revealed that Katrina Kaif was his first choice for his film, "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan".

Katrina Kaif and filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar have shared a fruitful collaboration in Bollywood. However, their plans to work together on Zafar’s upcoming project, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” were hindered by Kaif’s tight schedule. Zafar expressed his regret in a recent interview, citing Kaif’s prior commitments as the reason for being unable to cast her in the film.

In a recent interview with News18, Zafar revealed that his first choice for his film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was Katrina however she rejected the proposal due to her other projects, he said, “She couldn’t do our film because she was busy with something else. I just hope that she keeps her dates free for my next film.”

Zafar acknowledged that Katrina remains his top pick for the leading female roles in all his films. Discussing their bond, he mentioned, “Katrina is always on my mind when it comes to making any film. If I don’t cast her, she calls and tells me, ‘Why aren’t you taking me in your film?’ She said the same this time around too. Whenever I’ve worked with her, we’ve always shared a great bond as a director-actor duo”.

The filmmaker further praised Katrina Kaif and her acting skills, he added, “I feel there’s a lot of potential in her as an actor. Be it Bharat, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, or Tiger Zinda Hai, she has done some really good work with me.”

Zafar’s upcoming film, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” stars Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles, with Manushi Chillar and Alaya F as their love interests. Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the antagonist. Scheduled for release on April 10, just before Eid, it will compete with Ajay Devgn’s “Maidaan” at the box office.
