Rashmika Mandanna, the star of “Pushpa 2”, has secured a role in Salman Khan’s upcoming project, “Sikandar”. The announcement was made on Thursday morning, marking a significant milestone for Rashmika as it signifies her debut with one of the Khans in Bollywood. This venture also marks her fourth Bollywood film. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the film is scheduled to release next Eid in 2025.
Rashmika Mandanna Announces Her Next Film Sikandar With Salman Khan
The confirmation came from both the production house and Rashmika Mandanna herself. She shared the news on her Instagram Stories, and wrote, “You guys for a long time have been asking me for the next update and here it is. Surprise!! I’m truly grateful and honoured to be a part of Sikandar.”
According to a source speaking to Pinkvilla, Rashmika has been assigned a significant role in the film. The source mentioned that her character has been meticulously crafted and holds substantial importance in the narrative. Additionally, it was rumored that the filmmakers were seeking a fresh pairing, leading to Rashmika’s consideration for the role.
Rashmika Mandanna’s Upcoming Films
Rashmika was last seen sharing the screen with Ranbir Kapoor in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s blockbuster hit film, “Animal”. She will next be seen in “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” sharing the screen with Allu Arjun and Fahad Faasil in pivotal roles. Pushpa 2: The Rule will hit the screens on August 15, 2024.
