Actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra has been granted bail by the court today. The Mumbai court granted him bail on a surety of Rs 50,000.
ANI confirmed the news as it reported, “Mumbai court grants bail to businessman and actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra in the pornography case on a surety of Rs 50,000.”

Raj Kundra’s bail plea claimed that he was associated with the company, which owned the mobile app in question Hotshots, only for a brief period of 10 months. The plea said, “During this period, Kundra had interacted with a few clients but had never taken an active part in contract building or any of the content creation,” the plea said. All so-called ‘victims’ were adults and had voluntarily acted in the “so-called video shooting.”
Raj Kundra was arrested by Mumbai Police Crime Branch On July 19 in a pornography-related case. It was alleged that Raj Kundra was involved in producing porn content and streaming it on various apps. He was also accused of forcing struggling actresses into the porn business with a promise to give them work in big-budget films.
