Boys Night Out: Ranbir Kapoor And Arjun Kapoor Seen Together Watching Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer”

The movie received backlash for using Bhagavad Gita verses in an inappropriate manner

Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” is leaving no stone unturned to attract an audience, and now even Bollywood is not left behind. Yesterday, videos and pictures of Ranbir and Arjun Kapoor went viral as they opted to watch the movie in the theater. A short video shared by Ranbir Kapoor’s fan club on social media shows them enjoying the movie together.

Talking about the movie, it was released on July 21 and boasts a star-studded cast including Cillian Murphy, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Casey Affleck, Rami Malek, Kenneth Branagh, Tom Conti, and Gary Oldman, among others. The movie is based on Oppenheimer’s scientific achievements, as he is known as the father of the atomic bomb and for his pivotal role in the groundbreaking “Manhattan Project.”

However, some fans were left in shock after discovering that one of the verses from the Bhagavad Gita was used in an inappropriate manner in the film. The scene in which Florence Pugh makes Cillian Murphy read from the Gita during an intimate moment has sparked anger among users on Twitter. Many expressed their dissatisfaction with the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for not cutting the scene, feeling that it disrespects their religious beliefs.
