Bollywood actor Boman Irani’s mother Jerbanoo Irani is no more. She passed away on Wednesday morning and was 94 years old. Taking to his insta handle he made a social media post wherein by sharing the picture of his late mother and penning an emotional caption for same, he officially informed about his mother’s demise and that she has left for heavenly abode. He also opened up on how his mother just passed away really peacefully within her sleep itself.
He also revealed and spoke about how his late mother Jerbanoo Irani played both the roles of mother and father to him effortlessly from past so many years ever since she turned 32 years old and also missing his mom dearly, he called her as his ‘star’ and also shared about what she always asked him to do each time.
On Instagram, the well renowned 3 Idiots (2009) fame Bollywood star informing all his friends and followers, started off by writing, “Mother Irani passed away peacefully in her sleep early this morning. Jer was 94. She played the role of both mother and father to me since she was 32”.
Speaking up about his late mom, he wrote, “What a spirit she was. Filled with funny stories that only she could tell. The longest arm that always dug deep into her pockets, even when there wasn’t much there”.
Alongside his mom’s picture, mentioning about how she was always passionate about food and songs, Boman also adds, “When she sent me to the movies, she made sure all the compound kids came with me. ‘Don’t forget the popcorn’ she would say. She loved her food and her songs and she could fact-check Wikipedia and IMDb in a flash. Sharp, sharp, sharp, till the very end”.
Opening up on how his mother always told him to make people happy and smile with his acting, Boman added, “She always said, You are not an actor for people to praise you. You are an actor only so you can make people smile. “Make people happy”. She said”.
Revealing about his mother’s last moments, the actor mentioning about how his mother asked him for some malai kulfi and mango, wrote, “Last night she asked for Malai Kulfi and some mango. She could have asked for the moon and the stars if she wished. She was, and always will be…….A Star”.
