Bollywood Celebs Mourn The Demise Of Wajid Khan

Today, India woke up to the sad news of music composer Wajid Khan’s demise. Wajid Khan rose to fame with Sajid-Wajid duo who gave several hit tracks for Salman Khan. They composed music for films like Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Hello Brother, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, the Dabangg Franchise and many others. The entire Bollywood industry is in deep shock. As soon as the news broke out, Priyanka Chopra took to Twitter and expressed her shock and sadness. She wrote, “Terrible news. The one thing I will always remember is Wajid bhai’s laugh. Always smiling. Gone too soon. My condolences to his family and everyone grieving. Rest in peace my friend. You are in my thoughts and prayers.” Arjun Kapoor shared a picture with him and wrote, “still can’t believe it… feels like yesterday we were doing sittings for Tevar. One of the warmest & most decent souls I had the pleasure of knowing. Always a smile on his face & a song in his heart… Thank You Wajid bhai for the music & the memories.” Music composer Salim Merchant wrote, “Devastated with the news of the passing away of my brother Wajid of Sajid -Wajid fame. May Allah give strength to the family. Safe travels bro @wajidkhan7 you’ve gone too soon. It’s a huge loss to our fraternity. I’m shocked & broken. Bollywood’s Shenshaah Amitabh Bachchan’s tweet reads, “Shocked at the passing of Wajid Khan .. a bright smiling talent passes away .. duas , prayers and in condolence.” Wajid Khan was just 42 years old.
