Adipush is one of the most awaited films of 2022. Starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles, the film is said to be one of the most expensive films of Bollywood. In the upcoming film, actor Bijay Anand will be seen playing Lord Brahma.
During an exclusive chat with us, he told that he is reuniting with Saif Ali Khan after 30 years. He said, “When I entered the film industry 30 years ago, I and Saif were supposed to do a two-hero film. Saif and I took dance and fight training together for 6 months. We used to meet every day and became good friends. Unfortunately, the film was never made and we never got a chance to work again. While working together for a scene in Adipurush, we were remembering old days and told our director Om Raut about it.”
When asked why the film is taking a long time, Bijay Anand said, “It is a big film with a big star cast. So, obviously, it will take time because we are making this film with so much love. It took a lot of time to shoot the opening scene, so you can imagine. I can just say that it is going to be an amazing film. Everyone knows the work of director Om Raut.”
He also revealed that he has already wrapped up the shoot of Adipurush and it was not at all difficult for him to play Brahma. He regularly practices yoga and meditation which provided him a positive aura to play the divine role.
Adipurush is a mythological film based on Ramayan. The film is scheduled for theatrical release in Telugu and Hindi along with its dubbed versions in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam on 11 August 2022.
