Disney+Hotstar recently dropped the trailer of Special Ops 1.5. Starring Kay Kay Menon in lead, this season introduces actor Aftab Shivdasani in a prominent role.
While interacting with the media, Aftab says, “I am very excited. Promotions are at full swing as it is releasing on 12th November.”
When asked about his character in Special Ops 1.5, Aftab said, “I can’t tell you about my character. I can just say that it is an important series as it is based on RAW. Special Ops is one such series that was widely watched and appreciated in 2020. So, there’s an added responsibility this time.”
The thriller series is helmed by Neeraj Pandey, who said, “Special Ops has managed to create a space in the hearts of audiences as each character’s story became an intense driving point in the series. But one character that massively stood out for fans was Himmat Singh. With Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story, we wanted to build the Universe of Special Ops and give fans of our show a glimpse of the making of their favourite RAW agent. Viewers will see what made Himmat Singh the man they loved in the first installment.”
Aftab was all praises of Neeraj Panday, as he said, “It was amazing to work with him. I would say that this was once in a lifetime opportunity. I wish to work with them again in the future. Neeraj Sir is a genius. As an actor, it was a pleasure to work with someone as clear and accomplished as Neeraj Sir.
About Kay Kay Menon, he said, “Kay Kay Menon Sir ke liye jitna kahun kam hai. He is a phenomenal actor. And it was absolutely amazing to work with him.”
