Bastar The Naxal Story Box Office Collection Day 2: Film Sees Slight Growth

BastarBoxOffice: “The Kerala Story”, filmmaker Sudipto Sen is back with his much-anticipated film, “Bastar: The Naxal Story”. Starring Adah Sharma in the lead role the crime drama was released in the theatres on 15 March. After opening up to poor reviews and a low opening the film saw slight growth at the box office on Saturday.

Bastar: The Naxal Story Box Office Collection Day 2

As per Sacnilk, Adah Sharma starrer crime-drama film, “Bastar: The Naxal Story” registered a low opening at the box office. The film earned only ₹ 0.50 Cr (50 Lakhs) on its first day. However, as per the portal, the film witnessed a slight growth at the box office on Saturday.

Bastar earned ₹ 0.75 Cr (75 Lakhs) on its second day at the box office. Bastar now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 1.15 Cr. The film is expected to see further growth on Sunday.

Sudipto Sen’s film, Bastar: The Naxal Story is actually based on and inspired by the real-life story and events surrounding the Naxals in Chattisgarh. The Bastar rebellion, which erupted in 1910, unfolded in what is now Chattisgarh. Despite receiving “poor reviews” from the public and critics, the film managed to secure impressive ratings from IMDb.
