Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana’s father, P. Khurrana, who is a well-known astrologer, passed away on Friday. Reportedly, he was admitted for two days to Fortis Hospital where he breathed his last after battling heart problems. His last rites will be performed at Chandigarh’s Manimajra cremation ground at around 5:30 p.m. today.
The spokesperson of Ayushmann’s brother and actor, Aparshakti Khurana, released a statement regarding this. Said, “It’s with our deep sadness that we inform you that Ayushmann and Aparshakti Khurana’s father, Astrologer P Khurana, passed away this morning at 10:30 a.m. in Mohali, owing to a prolonged incurable ailment. We are indebted for all your prayers and support during this time of personal loss.”
Ayushmann’s father, P. Khurana, was famously known in North India for his work in the field of astrology. Hailing from Chandigarh, Punjab, he also published books based on his knowledge.
The late astrologer was survived by his wife, Poonam Khurrana; their sons, Ayushmann and Aparshakti, with their respective wives; and their three grandkids, Virajveer, Varushka, and Arzoie.
