Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has sponsored the education of a 5-year-old kid he met at a railway station near Shimla. Anupam was waiting for his train when he met this kid and his mother. He then began talking to him and came to know that his father died in an accident. Hearing this, Anupam decided to sponsor his education.
Sharing this video on Instagram, Anupam wrote, ” I met 5 year old Himanshu at Jatogh railway station near Shimla. We soon became best friends! He talked non stop. And then at a certain point I asked him a casual question and his matter of fact answer shook me completely ! I then spoke to his mother Usha and assured her that Himanshu’s entire education will be sponsored by Anupam Kher Foundation. They never asked for anything. But this innocent conversation enriched me!”
Anupam Kher recently spent a week-long vacation in Shimla with her mother Dulari. Anupam’s mother was desperately missing her home at Shimla during the lockdown, and therefore, when the lockdown restrictions eased up, Anupam took her to Shimla.
