Pavitra Rishta actress Ankita Lokhande who came out as one of the finalists of Bigg Boss 17 is all set to make her Bollywood comeback soon. After her eventful journey in the reality show, Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande recently announced her upcoming project Swatantra Veer Savarkar with Randeep Hooda.
Taking to her Twitter account Ankita Lokhande revealed that she will be appearing alongside Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda in his upcoming film, Swatantra Veer Savarkar. She wrote, “Bringing light to the lost leader from the chapters of history! Starting a new chapter, right after BB17 feels extra special Grateful to be a part of this project alongside @RandeepHooda, produced by @anandpandit63 @ZeeStudios_ Don’t miss out on the date, 22nd March 2024 in your nearby theatres”.
Talking about the film, Randeep Hooda starrer Swatantra Veer Savarkar is the biopic of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. The film also marks Randeep Hooda’s debut as a director. However, the film previously landed into legal trouble last year after Randeep Hooda issued a statement claiming full rights over the film. During the same, Mahesh Manjrekar who was initially supposed to direct the film revealed that he left the movie due to Randeep’s interference.
On the work front, Ankita Lokhande rose to fame with the television drama Pavitra Rishta. Soon after the actress then made her Bollywood debut with Kangana Ranaut’s film, Manikarnika. She had also appeared and won the reality show Smart Jodi before entering Bigg Boss 17 with her husband Vicky Jain.
