Ananya Panday takes tips from Shah Rukh Khan’s film Main Hoon Na for a scene in Pati Patni Aur Woh

Ananya Panday in her recent interview spoke about how Pati Patni Aur Woh director Mudassar Aziz told the starlet to refer to Shah Rukh Khan's train shot from Main Hoon Na for a scene in Pati Patni Aur Woh.

Ananya Panday who debuted in Bollywood with Student Of The Year 2 opposite Tiger Shroff has a huge fan following just after their debut. Ananya will next be seen in her second Bollywood film Pati Patni Aur Woh with Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar. She is an interview revealed that her director Mudassar Aziz old the actress to refer to Shah Rukh Khan’s train scene from Main Hoon Na so as to connect with the audience and also to get the perfect shot.

A source told a leading daily that Ananya on hearing about the reference that director Mudassar Aziz spoke about, made her give the shot perfectly and without any fear. Mudassar wanted the shot to be taken on an actual crowded station with people travelling there as he wanted the scene to look more natural and perfect. The scene was filmed at the Kanpur Central station with a real crowd and Ananya who looked confident was not at all disturbed by the real crowd. The source stated that she looked poised even though it’s just her second film.

When Ananya was asked about the same she confirmed that director Mudassir Aziz asked her to watch Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Main Hoon Na’ from the part where he descends from the train and he was looking for the same impact. Ananya was beyond thrilled as she is, after all, a great fan of Shah Rukh Khan and always admired him. She also revealed that there was no better reference than Shah Rukh for scenes like these as he makes every scene so realistic. She too wanted to bring the same effect on the screen.

Helmed by director Mudassar Aziz and produced by Renu Ravi Chopra, Pati Patni Aur Woh is a remake of the 1978 film of the same name and will hit theatres by 6th December 2019.
