1. Gabbar Singh from “Sholay” (1975)
Played by Amjad Khan, Gabbar Singh is perhaps the most iconic Bollywood villain ever. His character’s dialogues and menacing presence made him a household name. “Kitne Aadmi The” is one of his most popular dialogues.
2. Shakaal from “Shaan” (1980)
Shakaal is a bald, suave villain who became synonymous with evil. The character was played by Kulbhushan Kharbanda. Shakaal had a unique style, including a secret island hideout and a pet lion.

3. Dr. Dang from “Karma” (1986)
Actor Anupam Kher is still known as Dr. Dang who is a brilliant yet evil mastermind planning to wreak havoc. His portrayal as a cold and calculating villain was widely appreciated in film Karma.
4. Mogambo from “Mr. India” (1987)
Played by Amrish Puri, Mogambo is a supervillain known for his distinct style and dialogue delivery. His catchphrase, “Mogambo khush hua,” became immensely popular.
5. Kancha Cheena from “Agneepath” (1990 and 2012)
Originally played by Danny Denzongpa and later reprised by Sanjay Dutt in the remake, Kancha Cheena is a ruthless and fearsome antagonist who left a lasting impression on the audience.
