After a long wait, Rajkumar Hirani’s much-awaited and highly-anticipated film, Dunki was released in theatres on 21 December, 2023. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, and Vicky Kaushal the film opened to positive reviews and responses from critics and moviegoers. As per the trade experts, it is now believed that Dunki will have a successful opening at the box office ranging between 35-40cr.
Dunki Box Office Prediction Day 1
Taking to his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle, film trade expert Sumit Kadel stated that Rajkumar Hirani’s film, Dunki can get a box office opening between Rs 38-40 crore. He also claimed that Dunki would successfully cross the 180cr mark within just 5 days.
Sumit Kadel wrote, “Tremendous jump in advance booking of #Dunki post 5 PM.. Peaking at the right time & how. If the film is met with good audience response tomorrow like all Hirani Films then Day 1 would touch 38-40 cr nett.. 5 Days weekend would easily be 180 cr+ despite clashing with another big film. My Review will come out tomorrow around 9.30-10 Am. All the best to #ShahRukhKhan #RajkumarHirani & entire team.”.
Dunki Advance Booking Box Office Collection
Meanwhile, Dunki has reportedly grossed a total of 15cr through its advance booking collections. Reportedly, “Dunki” has sold a total of 2,55,796 tickets across India with the tickets most sold in cities like Maharashtra, Delhi, and West Bengal.
