Diljit Dosanjh Faces Legal Trouble Over Ticket Pricing For ‘Dil-Luminati India Tour’

A law student from Delhi has issued a legal notice to the singer after being unable to secure a ticket for the concert, claiming malpractice.

Diljit Dosanjh has been served a legal notice by a fan who was disappointed after being unable to secure a ticket for his forthcoming India tour. According to Free Press Journal, the notice was filed by Riddhima Kapoor, a Delhi-based law student who accused the organizers of unfair practices in the ticketing process for Diljit Dosanjh’s tour. Her legal notice also names Zomato, HDFC Bank, and Saregama Pvt Ltd.

In her legal notice, Riddhima Kapoor has reportedly claimed that there were malpractices in the ticket sales for the Dil-Luminati Tour. She accuses the tour organizers of violating consumer rights, alleging issues such as price manipulation, unfair trade practices, and ticket scalping. The notice’s subject highlighted these concerns regarding Diljit Dosanjh’s India tour.

She alleged that despite the organizers announcing September 12 at 1 pm as the ticket booking time, tickets were actually made available at 12:59 pm, causing many fans to secure their passes within a minute. The fan also mentioned that she obtained an HDFC Credit Card specifically to access early-bird passes but still could not secure a ticket to the concert.

Fans across India are eagerly anticipating Diljit Dosanjh’s tour, but this legal dispute has raised serious questions about ticket sales transparency for major events. As excitement grows for the upcoming concerts in multiple cities, there is a strong desire among fans for a fair resolution to ensure equitable access to future shows.

In the meantime, Delhi Police have issued a creative warning about fraudulent ticket sales for Dosanjh’s concert. They released a video featuring a concert scene set to Diljit’s hit song ‘Born To Shine,’ and included a clever caption inspired by the lyrics of the track, which says, “Paise Puse Baare Soche Duniya, Alert Rehkar Online Fraud Se Bache Duniya,”
