Pop Icon and Rapper Cardi B has announced she is unable to perform at the upcoming ONE MusicFest due to being hospitalised, leaving fans disappointed and concerned. Just a few days ago, she faced a medical emergency that required her to stay in the hospital. The news broke on her social media platforms, where she expressed her disappointment about missing the chance to connect with her fans.
In her post, Cardi B said, “I am so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won’t be able to perform at ONE Music Fest.” She went on to express how much she wishes she could be there and thanked her fans, calling them “Bardi Gang,” for their understanding. “I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love y’all,” she reassured them.
One MusicFest is set to take place in Atlanta and Cardi B was supposed to take the stage on Saturday night. Performing alongside famous artists like Earth, Wind & Fire and Nelly, with additional acts including Fantasia and Ari Lennox.
The ONE MusicFest organizers also shared their thoughts on the matter. They stated, “Hey #OMFFam! Unfortunately, @iamcardib announced that she is no longer available to join us this year due to ongoing health issues.” They added that they were actively looking for a replacement and urged fans to keep Cardi B in their prayers for a speedy recovery.
This is not the first time Cardi B has faced health problems. Earlier this year, she talked about an injury that caused her a lot of pain and nearly led to a pregnancy loss because of a “freak accident”. She has also been open about her divorce from Offset and has shared her feelings on social media.
