In the ongoing battle between ex-couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, there’s another twist. Brad Pitt recently slammed ex-wife Angelina Jolie for her demands of seeking access to Pitt’s private texts. Brad Pitt has completely denied to affirm to any such requests, stating the act as an “invasion of privacy”.
Angelina’s team is reportedly seeking access to Brad Pitt’s conversations about the 2016 jet incident, which could be a significant factor in their ongoing battle. However, Pitt’s legal team has refused to fulfil the demand. Referring to it as a ‘sensationalist fishing expedition, the lawyers have strongly opposed her request.
According to the lady’s team of lawyers, Pitt contains chats that can expose crucial details of their ongoing dispute. These chats can be helpful for her. The court filing states that the conversations include “sensitive issues such as therapy he voluntarily undertook after the flight incident to improve.” Additionally, the communications cover “drug and alcohol testing,” “abuse of alcohol,” and other actions taken following the flight.
The couple filed for a divorce in 2016. This legal war between the two, started when Brad Pitt sued Angelina in 2022 over their joint stake in a French winery. Jolie sold her stake to Stoli, a Russian company without Pitt’s knowledge. The actor later claimed that the couple had previously decided to inherit the winery for their six kids. He said that Jolie’s sale of her stake without his consent was entirely inappropriate.
While Angelina’s team is urging for the” private chats’, Pitt’s lawyer claimed that they have already submitted the necessary documents and are strongly opposed to this invasion of his chats. As the legal battle continues with no end in sight, the outcome of the judgment continues to be uncertain.
