Sudheer Babu, who predominantly works in the Telugu film industry, has delivered successful films like Shiva Manasulo Shruti, Prema Katha Chitram and Sammohanam, among others. He surprised audiences in 2016 with his Bollywood debut in ‘Baaghi’, where he played a villainous role alongside Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor. Since then, he has been occupied with projects in Tollywood and has not opted for any other Hindi movies.
After receiving numerous questions from fans about his return to Bollywood and why he hasn’t appeared in more Hindi films, Sudheer Babu has now returned. Recently, he arrived in Mumbai from Hyderabad to shoot the poster for a pan-Indian supernatural thriller film. He awestruck audience with his shirtless appearance, flaunting his toned physique and leaving fans awestruck.
In a recent interview, Sudheer discussed his upcoming film produced by Bollywood actor-producer Prerna Arora and directed by debutant Venkat Kalyan. Expressing his excitement about returning to Bollywood, he stated, “I’m happy to be back. It’s been many years since ‘Baaghi’, and now there are no barriers across industries.”
Explaining why it took him so long to choose another Bollywood project, Sudheer said, “Many projects came my way, but I always believed that when I return to Bollywood, I need to choose the right subject. You only get one chance and you have to make it count.” He also expressed his joy at being involved in Prerna Arora’s film, a project he feels strongly about after hearing the script. He mentioned that the title of the supernatural thriller film will be finalized soon, with the first look set to be released shortly.
Speaking about the film’s genre and storyline, Sudheer commented, “The story has some very intriguing elements that everyone will connect with. While supernatural genres are trending, we chose this script for its overall quality which will definitely connect with moviegoers.”
The upcoming high-budget film is slated for release around Shivratri in March 2025, has kept details about its leading lady under wraps. However, hints suggest that a prominent Bollywood actress may join the cast.
Regarding his upcoming projects, Sudheer revealed that there are a couple of discussions underway, which he will finalize after completing Venkat Kalyan’s directorial. His recent action-drama film ‘Harom Hara’ had an OTT release on Amazon Prime Video, directed by Gnanasagar Dwaraka and featuring Malvika Sharma, Jayaprakash, Sunil, and others.
