When Salman Khan Saved Ayesha Jhulka From A Speeding Train

In a latest interaction with Bollywood Bubble, Ayesha Jhulka recalled a shocking incident on set where a miscommunication nearly led to disaster. Opening about it, she said that ‘Back in the olden days, when there used to be no walkie-talkies, signals were given via handkerchiefs. We were shooting the song ‘Nahi Padhni Mujhe ABC’ in Igatpuri, a location far from a typical railway station. Salman was dancing on the tracks while I was performing inside them. Since it was a goods train route, we had secured permission, and the train was supposed to stop for a short duration. The plan was for us to move when the signal was given, but with the loud music playing, we completely missed it.”

Further she recounted that at that point of time, all she could remember was Salman Khan pulling her off with an incredible force to save her from drowning into the terrible accident. As she quoted, “He must have sensed the train coming—perhaps others did too—but everything unfolded so quickly that I couldn’t grasp what was going on. Later, people told me, ‘Salman just saved your life,’ but at that moment, I was too shocked to respond. I even laughed—it’s a nervous reaction of mine.”
