The sensational singer-actor Selena Gomez and music producer Benny Blanco are all set to tie the knot this September. According to The Daily Mail, the couple has planned a two-day wedding celebration in Montecito, California. The event will be intimate yet elegant with only close family and friends attending this special day.
Reportedly, the grand invitations have been already sent out. Also, the guests attending have been asked to bring bags for the overnight stay. “Selena and Benny’s wedding is going to be a two-day event in Montecito in September. Everyone invited has been asked to bring overnight bags to stay for the weekend” an insider told the publication.
Though the guest list hasn’t been made public yet but many expect Selena’s close friend Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce to attend. Other speculated guests include Selena’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars and Benny’s friends from the music industry.
There is also buzz that podcaster Jay Shetty may officiate the wedding. British author who has officiated weddings for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck in 2022 and Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker in 2023, commented during an appearance on Extra’s Billy Bush, “Not right now, not right now. Let’s see if the call comes, but not right now. I just did Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker a year-and-a-half back, which was beautiful.”
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco announced their engagement in December 2024 after dating for six months. They shared the happy news with a series of pictures where Selena proudly showed off her engagement ring calling it a major milestone in their relationship.
