American actress Angelina Jolie’s film Maria, was premiered at the Venice Film festival 2024, on August 29th. Pablo Larrain’s directorial, that revolves around the complex lifestyle of renowned opera star, Maria Callas left the star Angelina Jolie speechless and emotional, as the film received a whole of 8-min standing ovation at the festival.

The Thursday event witness the lead actress of Maria, Angelina jolie in a beige-gown by Tamara Ralph with a fur stole. The film Maria, hints towards the tumultuous lifestyle of the 20thy century opera star. Her work was appreciated by the fans widely. Fans hailed her presence at the event as she went teary-eyed with the immense love. Later, her co-actor Pierfrancesco Favino and director Pablo Larrain comforted her as she rested her head on their shoulders. They also helped her walk ahead to the stage after the brief-emotional moment.

This film marks Angelina Jolie’s return to the Best Actress race for the first time in 15 years. At a press conference held for the film on the same day, Jolie discussed about all the tough phases of her life.
