The couple was seen holding hands during what looked like a double date with Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham, sparking dating rumours. However, neither Andrew nor Kate had publicly confirmed the relationship — until now.
On October 12, Kate Tomas responded to a fan’s question on Instagram, confirming their breakup. A fan had commented, “Are you still dating Andrew Garfield? If so, tell him I’m a fan of him, please. Thank you.” Kate kindly replied, “We broke up months ago but I’m sure he will be happy to know that he is loved 🥰❤️.” Her response quickly made headlines, surprising many fans who were unaware of the split.
In another comment, someone criticized Kate, asking, “Will you ever stop talking about Andrew? Cause he has never and will never talk about you so why can’t you stop?” Kate responded confidently, saying, “Sweetheart, the only people who ever talk about or centre a man in my life, work, business and social media are women like you😂.” (Source: PEOPLE)
