Recently, Aamir Khan candidly discussed his relationship with his colleagues, revealing that they did not have a particularly amicable rapport in the early stages and experienced significant rivalry. During an interview with the Just Too Filmy YouTube channel, when questioned about any existing tension between them, Aamir promptly replied, “Of course there was… What are you even asking? Each of us wanted to outpace the other two. Isn’t that what you call rivalry? So, that was there.”
While this dynamic appeared to be a form of friendly and healthy competition, Aamir acknowledged that there were also conflicts. “I think many of them have been well reported in the media as well,” he remarked, adding, “It’s not like I am saying something new here.” He further noted, “There have been disagreements. But these things happen between friends, right? In any relationship, disagreements are inevitable alongside friendship.”
Aamir highlighted that they have long surpassed that earlier stage of rivalry. “It has been 35 years since we first came together. We were both born in 1965 and made our debuts around the same time. The competition that once existed is now a thing of the past. I believe Shah Rukh, Salman, and I no longer perceive it in that manner. After sharing this journey for 35 years, we have developed a deep sense of warmth and friendship, which is more evident now than ever. We are significantly more at ease with one another,” he stated.
