Tiger Shroff, who made his Bollywood debut with ‘Heropanti’ in 2014, is gearing up for the release of its sequel. The film is slated for theatrical release on Eid (April 29). This is the first time that Tiger’s film will be released on Eid which was otherwise reserved for Salman Khan for the past many years.
During the press conference at the song launch event for the film ‘Heropanti 2’, Tiger was asked about his excitement for Eid release while replacing Salman Khan. To this, Tiger replied, “There is only one tiger and that is Salman Khan. The rest of us are cats in front of him. But I am very very happy. It is a very big deal for me to come on Eid. Although I can’t take the credit. It goes to producer Sajid Nadiadwala Sir. It was his decision to give us that release pad.”
While the 2014 film ‘Heropanti’ featured Kriti Sanon alongside Tiger Shroff, the upcoming sequel stars Tara Sutaria. The film is scheduled to be released on 29 April 2022. It will clash with Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Runway 34’.
