Kavita Kaushik ‘QUITS’ TV Industry, Reveals Why

In a recent interview, TV actress Kavita Kaushik revealed that she has decided to leave the TV industry. She further revealed the reason behind her decision.

Kavita Kaushik, famous for her role as Inspector Chandramukhi Chautala in FIR, has chosen to leave the television industry, citing demanding work hours as a key factor. In an interview with Times Now, she revealed that her recent offers have mostly been for roles of witches, which has influenced her decision to step away from TV.

Kavita Kaushik explained her decision to leave the TV industry, stating that she is no longer interested in working on TV due to the demanding 30-day shoots. Although she remains open to web shows or films, she often receives offers for roles like witches, which don’t suit her. She expressed gratitude for her past TV work but noted that she no longer wants to commit that much time, even acknowledging that she used to complain about the demands of FIR.

Kavita Kaushik expressed her dissatisfaction with TV content, criticizing it for being regressive. She noted that TV once offered diverse and progressive shows, but now it often features content that she believes is harmful to younger audiences. She lamented her own participation in such content, stating that she does not approve of current television programming. She also pointed out that many people, being Indian, tend to view what’s shown on TV as truth and maybe subconsciously influenced by it.

Kavita Kaushik was most recently seen in the Punjabi comedy-drama Carry on Jatta 3 and also participated as a contestant on Bigg Boss 14.
