Aamir Khan has always been known not just for his extraordinary acting skills but also for being open about his personal life. After two marriages and public separations, Aamir Khan surprised everyone earlier this year when he introduced Gauri Spratt as his partner during his birthday celebration in March. In a recent interview with The Indian Express, Aamir was asked if he has found love again. The actor simply said, “Sure, I have.” When the conversation turned toward marriage and whether he was planning to take that step again, Aamir opened up about the depth of his current relationship.
“In My Heart, I’m Already Married to Her”
Speaking about his bond with Gauri Spratt – Aamir Khan said, “Well, Gauri and I are really serious about each other and we are in a very committed space. And we are, you know, we are partners. We are together. Marriage is something, I mean, in my heart, I’m already married to her. So whether it’s, whether we formalize it or not is something that I will decide as we go along.” The Lagaan actor’s statement reflects a strong emotional connection even though he remains undecided about a legal marriage.
A Look Back At Aamir’s Relationship Timeline
Aamir Khan married Reena Dutta in 1986 and the couple had two children Junaid and Ira Khan, before their divorce in 2002. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005 with whom he shares a son Azad and that marriage ended in 2021. Also before his second marriage , in between he was rumoured to be linked with Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla etc.
In an old interview with Lehren, Aamir addressed these speculations saying, “Madhuri ke saath mera affair hai, yeh aaya hai. Juhi ke saath mera affair hai, yeh bhi aaya hai. Pooja Bhatt ko maine shadi propose ki hai, yeh bhi aaya hai. Toh kaafi cheezein aayi hai lekin main in cheezon se affect nahi hota hoon.”
